Welcome!

According to the Nantional Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI -link to www.nano.gov-), "Nanotechnology is the understanding and control of matter at dimensions of roughly 1 to 100 nanometers, where unique phenomena enable novel applications."

The National Science Foundation (NSF -link to www.nsf.gov-) has funded our Nanoscale Interdisciplinary Research Team (NIRT) to study the dispersion and assembly of nanoparticles in polymers. The team consists of researchers from Michigan State University, Washington University - St. Louis, University of California - Santa Barbara and Sandia National Laboratories. Welcome to our web site, explore it and find out what we are doing in the area of Nanotechnology.

Thanks,
